Video iPod

If you talk to me on a regular basis about apple cult stuff (Jasmine you will soon, I promise =P ) you'd know that I totally called the s-video out feature on the iPod video months ago. So I feel pretty smug. The video iPod will rule us all and the easiest scenario to explain how it will take over television is this: You can buy Disney/Pixar movies online. More will follow. You'll be able to pop that 80gig iPod into your minivan dashboard and the kids can select finding nemo, little mermaid, the incredibles, Cars (ugh) or they can watch Disney cartoons (already available) or listen to Raffi (double ugh) You get to grandma and grandpa's house, which is devoid of whiz-bang entertainment for your ADHD suffering children, so you eject the iPod and hook it up to Grandma's TV and pop on The Little Mermaid while you catch up with your mom and dad. The ability to quickly take that amount of media with you on a car trip is worth damn near any price for a sleep deprived parent. Fortunately they can have it for $400 and $1.99 per episode. Think about that.
